We are rising out of the ashes of so many broken reflections 
Fire dragon 
Phoenix 
Burning it all off 
So many suggestions of who we are not. 
Now we shine effortlessly 
Any attempts to pull us down are futile and wavering 
Flapping around in the wind, rooted in nothing solid 
Flailing into oblivion 
No effort required to brush these off. 
Those who deliver false messages can feel it 
They deal with the ripple of the fact that we stand, completely unmoved, as they stumble in their sleep. 
Bitter words strengthen our resolve and we grow ever bigger, and restore love in our communities 
This is the land we are born to protect 
There is no time, only now. 
We rise, we thrive 
We live, we breathe…Peace.
